The Blue Mountains Regiment is a Lord of the Rings Online™ roleplaying (story-driven) player-run kinship (guild) on the Meriadoc (EU-RP) free-to-play server. Character profiles on this site are fictional and not affiliated with any real-life organisation, political or otherwise.
The Blue Mountains Regiment seeks brave and skillful dwarves; both those who can defend the land and those who can help with crafting and events.
The dwarrow of the Blue Mountains are a friendly and helpful folk; any dwarf would feel at home in their halls.
The kinship is dwarf-only, so you will need to be playing as a dwarf or stout-axe character. As a social roleplay kinship with military themes, there is a uniform you may wear at official events, ranks, several decorated kin houses used for regular events, and a friendly, helpful environment. Events include markets, trade caravans, musicians, parades, military excursions, pub / tavern events, crafting and gathering expeditions, etc.
We regularly interact and engage with other kinships on Meriadoc.
For in-game information, please contact: Omali, Snjorblom, or Thonin.

1. Creating your Character
All members of the Blue Mountains Regiment are either dwarf or stout-axe dwarf characters.
In Character, you cannot see a name floating above your head or that of anyone else. Take a moment to think about your character's name.
It does not have to be original, as long as it is believable. The Dwarrow Scholar provides excellent resources on dwarrow naming conventions.
Think of a personality for your character, and a brief background; where is he or she from? The Tolkien Gateway provides a vast wealth of information on dwarven culture, history, and localities.
2. Contact an Officer
Be sure to contact an officer of the kin, such as Omali, Snjorblom, or Thonin.
You can send them an in-game private message (/tell), an in-game letter via the postal system, or chat via the kinship discord server. If you're feeling creative, you could even approach them In Character during one of our events and ask to join.
3. Join us on Discord
After joining, be sure to join us on Discord where you can stay up-to-date
with what's going on, make friends, share artwork, screenshots, and stories.
